Well I finally have something worth putting up in here! I have tons of other art stuff too but... I dunno I'm kind of wary of putting stuff up on here just because of everything I have read about that could and have happened to people who's art has been stolen from them just because of some goon trying to take credit for someone else's work. Call me a Cautionary Artist

So anyways I suppose I'll introduce myself to those who don't know me. The names is Petra... Or Sarah but my nick online is Petra^^ But you can call me Sarah too lol. Petra means Rock, and Petra was also the name of our family dog who passed away May or June 2002 of 13 years of age from cancer. It got worse so we had to put her down. Best dog ever. Petra is also an old Christian band my family and I used to always listen to while growing up. Ah yes. Good times~.

So the name Petra always stuck with me just cause I like it and I think its a cool name. I like Petra and I like Art so I combined the two things I like and Viola!

That was probably more than you wanted to know but oh well

As far as my art goee, I like drawing basically anything. I have been drawing ever since I can remember. As young or even younger than 3 years of age I would draw anywhere and everywhere I could. Gradually I got better at drawing yet I always had trouble drawing guys. Not the girls, but the guys! Ugh! I'd start drawing a guy and it turns into a She. In High School I did begin to get a bit better at drawing Males but it wasn't until my one and only year at College where I drastically improved my drawing skills. But I still was not yet confident in my computer drawing skills in Photoshop since it seemed so intimidating. About a year later I took a 16 week course in Web and Graphic Design, which drastically boosted my confidence and knowledge in this area, especially the Graphic Design area. Now I couldn't live without Photoshop ^^

As you can tell from my old Stuff art section in here I have gotten a tons better at drawing on the computer (gotta love Wacom Tablets!). Those were from when I first started taking interest in drawing on the computer, and done before I took the 16-week course.
